Skoot has started rolling out a network of ultra-fast charging stations across western Nairobi. The network has been developed to support the new Skoot S2 electric motorcycle, which can be charged to full in approximately 20 minutes.
The charging network is also being designed to support future Skoot vehicle programmes, including electric three-wheel and four-wheel models. The rollout forms part of Skoot's long-term investment in the infrastructure needed to support the clean energy transition in Africa.
Skoot App Now Available on Google Play
The Skoot App is now available for download on Google Play. The app gives customers access to a growing range of Skoot services through a single account.
Skoot Launches S2 in Kenya
Skoot has launched the Skoot S2 electric motorcycle in Kenya. Designed for commercial operations, the S2 combines rugged construction, connected vehicle technology and ultra-fast charging. The S2 integrates directly with the Skoot App, allowing riders and operators to manage vehicles, payments, servicing and customer support through a single platform.
